The purpose of LIFEgroups is to create an environment where the Word (aka Bible) Community (friendship) and Service (about others) can help others grow in maturity, move spiritually and multiply intentionally.

How many people are in a LIFEgroup?
LIFEgroups typically range anywhere from 10-12 people!

How long do LIFEgroups last?
Early Fall Session: August 11-October 6 (9 weeks)
Late Fall Session: October 13-December 8 (9 weeks)
Winter Session: February 7-April 7 (10 weeks)
Spring Session: April 14-June 16 (10 weeks)

What kind of LIFEgroups does Southridge offer?
We offer 3 types of groups: MESSAGE BASED, PRAYER and CORE (Starting Point & Freedom)

Do I have to lead a LIFEgroup in my house?
We encourage LIFEgroups to meet in homes, host homes, or restaurants/coffee shops throughout the city. Why? There’s something about being outside the four walls of the church building that cause people to let their walls down, too.

Can I host a LIFEgroup instead of lead one?
Absolutely! We are always in need of great host homes who are willing to open up their amazing living room or cozy basement!

Can anyone lead a LIFEgroup at Southridge?
We are looking for people who have Spiritual and Relational Warmth! We do require that you are a member of Southridge and have completed the Growth Track. We also ask that you participate in a Message Based LIFEgroup for at least 1 semester prior. If you are interested to leading a group, please email lifegroups@southridgelife.com and we will help you get started in a Message Based group.

Can I lead any type of LIFEgroup I want?
At this time Southridge has 3 options for groups to lead: Message Based, Prayer or CORE Groups.

How do I get people to join my LIFEgroup?
YOU are the best recruiter for your group and we strongly encourage you to personally invite people to join your LIFEgroup. We actually find that many people who are not connected to a church or following Jesus will join a LIFEgroup before they even come to church! Southridge promotes LIFEgroups each Semester but the tried and true method of personal invitation is still the best way!
